Early departure from Windhoek to your lodge in the Namib Desert. This is the gateway to Sesriem Canyon and Sossusvlei, where some of the highest sand dunes on earth stand towering over the desert plains.

Spend the afternoon at leisure in your lodge, or take part in one of the optional activities on offer.

This morning you will have an early start in order to see the first rays of sunlight paint the mountains of sand a variety of shades of red and orange, an unmissable photo opportunity. You will then walk up one of the Sossusvlei dunes to admire the desert landscape, before visiting Sesriem Canyon, a life sustaining natural phenomenon in the heart of the desert.

After breakfast you will travel towards the Atlantic Ocean, past the desolate rolling Kuiseb Moon Valley. Visit the shallow lagoon in Walvis Bay, one of the most important wetland areas on the African continent and a RAMSAR World Heritage Site. Over 80% of the African flamingos feed in this lagoon.

Later, arrive in the coastal town of Swakopmund and the rest of the day is at leisure.

Today is at leisure for you to enjoy the coastal town of Swakopmund. This is the perfect location for walking tours, shopping or relaxing along the sandy beaches. If you're looking for adventure there are also plenty of activities including desert tours, quad biking, paragliding and kite surfing on offer (payable locally).

Today you will head further north and travel via Brandberg, Namibia's highest mountain at 2,579m in to Damaraland one of the least populated and geographically diverse areas of Africa.The harsh rocky environment in home to the rare desert elephant, black rhino and antelope. Visit Twyfelfontain, a bushman heritage site and after a visit to a nearby Living Museum of the Damara, we proceed to the Petrified Forest. A geographical phenomenon depicting the creation and evolution of some of the oldest land masses on Earth.

After a relaxed breakfast, you will travel towards the Etosha National Park, famous for its vast amount of wildlife and unique landscape. Once you have reached your camp located on the outside of the National Park, you'll have the rest of the day at leisure. You can optionally also book an afternoon guided game drive in an open game drive vehicle with the lodge.

Today is devoted to the abundant wildlife in the Etosha National Park, which surrounds a parched salt desert known as the Etosha Pan. The park is home to four of the 'Big Five'; elephant, lion, leopard and rhino.

Today will also be spent game driving in the Etosha National Park, where you may encounter animal species you did not see the previous day and look forward to any new surprises at the different waterholes visited. In the afternoon travel to the lodge, where the rest of the evening is at leisure.

After breakfast, continue south to Windhoek, where you will visit the craft markets in the main street of the capital. Afterwards transfer to the airport for your onwards journey.
