Quiver Tree Forest

We love talking holidays and we're here to help. If you'd like our advice on how to create an amazing Namibia holiday, just give our Destination Specialists a call.

The Quiver Tree Forest was declared a national monument of Namibia in 1995 and contains trees which are over two or three hundred years old.

Located 14km from Keetmanshoop, the forest is home to around 250 types of aloe, otherwise known as "quiver trees". Closeby to the forest, you'll also find the Giant's Playground; a vast pile of dolerite rocks that have, over the years, formed a maze site that makes for a great hike and for fantastic photo opportunities.
