At Mexico City's historic heart

Centrally located in the Plaza de la Constitucion, the Zocalo Central is an oasis in the centre of a bustling city. Built in the 1800's and lovingly refurbished this hotel blends traditional Mexican splendour with modern day touches. A stay at this hotel would not be complete without a meal at Balcon del Zocalo, the hotel's rooftop restaurant boasting fantastic city vistas and cuisine as good as the views. The hotel is right in the heart of the city allowing you to be within easy reach of the sights and landmarks and is the perfect base to explore.

Tonight is our last night in Mexico City. We are so sad to be leaving such an amazing place and such an amazing hotel. The service has been fantastic and the extras that you get (that I guess you already pay for) are more than you'd imagine ie. frappacinos and fruit cups. I couldn't reccomend this place enough. The queen room we booked is a little small but you get what you pay for and we loved the room and how clean and comfy it was. The location is also incredible. The only slightly negative thing I have to say is when the sales person/concierge was trying to convince us that a local guide at the Teotihuacan would cost more than if we booked a private transfer with him... without a guide... (so not what we wanted or was asking). I did find this a little disappointing as I lost my trust with the concierge and didn't bother speaking to them again all holiday. But this did not detract at all from our little holiday and would not stop me staying at this amazing place again! Thanks for an amazing stay!
