Great place for families
Des Moines, Iowa
Cozumel Palace was a great Spring Break destination for our family of 5. Two teenagers and a 12 year old. Hourly activities by the pool. Entertainment staff is great! Victor was awesome! He entertained my 12 year old all week!! She can’t wait to come back! All the food was delicious! Loved the drinks as well. We had a loft suite which worked well for our family. Plenty of room and beds were comfy. Room cleaned daily with turn down service as well. All the employees were so nice and friendly. Kids loved snorkeling right off the dock at the resort. Also enjoyed the paddle boarding! Resort credit was nice. Saved our family a lot of money. We did snorkeling and sting ray beach would highly recommended both. Very close to town and never felt unsafe when walking. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed our stay here. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Cozumel.

Great place for friends and family.

Great resort. Friendly staff. The only drawback was there is no beach on the property. You will have to take taxi and go to paradise beach or playacar beach, which is no big deal. Resort has good restaurants and the food is great at this place. The staff is friendly and it is about 10 min walk to downtown and ferry. We took ferry to playa del Carmen and that was good outing. We will definitely visit Cozumel and stay in this resort. Resort has snorkeling area within the property and dolphin swim next door. Will recommend this place anytime to anyone looking for a good fun with your family and friends.

Treated like criminals
My husband and I were staying at the presidente up the road and rest of family and grandkids at this hotel . Horrible experience .... Every time we stopped by to pick up grandkids , or wait for the family the guys outside at the door were not only trying to stop us even getting into the lobby , but didn’t want us to even go to reception to call our family members to come downstairs , and literally blocked us from going through the door . Very embarrassing / humiliating experience . We’ve stayed in some of the best hotels in the world and never been treated so badly . I understand security , but seriously? We were all so upset , we told them .... None of us would EVER book this hotel again

My wife and I visit Cozumel for the third times in the last five years (2015, 2017, 2019) and we receive the same warm welcome and the excellence on services from the front desk to the room services.
One more time this March 2019 we were feeling like home, and for us, that means a lot.

Great trip!

Recently returned from a girls' trip to this resort. Excellent location to walk into to town and to watch the Carnivale parades. It's a quiet resort, not designed for a big party crowd.
Very personal service. Jairo, our breakfast waiter knew exactly what we wanted every morning for drinks and was more than helpful. Shout out to Raul, our pool bartender and David in the lobby bar. Always gave us exactly what we wanted. Our servers at the pool, Roger and Isabella never left us with a need. Carlos and Sughei in activities kept us moving.
One of the other things that is great about the resort and location is that you can snorkel and SUP directly from the resort property. No need to take transport to another location.
All in all, a wonderful trip. Nice room, good food, great location and staff.
