Superb

Saltash, England, United Kingdom

There aren't enough words to describe our holiday at this fantastic hotel. From the minute we arrived we knew we'd struck gold. Cynthia your smile could light up the world, you epitomise the Mauritian people. Our room was perfect and made more wonderful every day by our room boy Arwan who made the most amazing towel animals- we especially loved the crocodile. The food was excellent, varied and plentiful. All of the kitchen staff and waiting staff were so amazing. A special mention to Chris the Maitre'd who always made sure we had our favourite table and to Preety who was so wonderful and friendly. The bar areas are relaxing and all of the staff are attentive. Auwee in the main bar is a dynamo of a bar tender he made us feel so looked after and I'm sure he has special radar to ensure a glass never stays empty. We made use of the spa and had the most incredible couples massage, a truly wonderful experience. The entertainment in the evenings was varied and really enjoyable, which brings me to the powerhouse that is 'Julian' what a treasure! His energy and real joy for life is infectious, there are certain songs I will never be able to hear again with seeing his dance. The beaches and pools are cleaned every morning and the entire hotel is spotlessly clean and tidy. Without exception the staff were a delight and so polite it was so nice to feel so special. We went on the Catamaran trip which was such good fun and one of the highlights so a special thanks to the skipper and his crew. We can't recommend this hotel enough. It was our first time in Mauritius and Paul et Virginie has ensured it will not be our last. Jennifer, your staff are an absolute credit to you we look forward to seeing you all again very soon.

35th wedding anniversary

We visited the veranda paul for our 35th wedding anniversary and our 1st holiday abroad in 20 years ,and they have certainly set the bar high for our next holiday. The staff are all so friendly and happy to help in any way possible, nothing to much trouble. Our room was perfect ,bright clean with a beautiful view of the lovely small but perfect beach which had lots of of things to keep you busy if all that sunbathing is to much for you . The hotel itself it's beautiful and you can't take any bad photo's as every where has great views . We went all inclusive and wasn't dissapointed ,breakfast was just what you needed to start the day from fresh fruit, the cooked breakie , pastries , and much much more ,lunch if you could possibly eat any more was small list of more lovely choices followed by the afternoon every day of freshly made pancakes with various lovely toppings , dinner was a buffet some days to a set menu at other times from currys ,lot of fish dishes and sweets to die for . Please visit this hotel it is the staff that makes it special for you xxx
