Truly a paradise!

Just couple of days a ago returned home from amazing holiday from Kuredu! We spent 10 nights on this beautiful Island. When we arrived at Male it was easy to find Kuredu's desk at airport and quickly we had left our luggage for seaplane flight and were heading to Kuredu lounge at TMA's terminal. After 40 minutes seaplane ride we arrived at Kuredu and what amazing place it seemed to be! Palmtrees, white sand and crystal clear turqoise water! We had Jacuzzi Beach Villa 249 for 10 nights, our Villa was quite near O resort and the area was beautiful, quiet and views amazing! The villa itself was well maintained and in good shape. We loved the 4 poster bed, so comfy! Partly outdoor wc was nice and jacuzzi was really great, enjoyed it many times! Views from our porch great and very short walk from the indian ocean. We usually swam in the sea, frankly we forgot the pool options! 2 a day the villa was cleaned and our housekeeper was very polite and friendly, thank you Riyaz! We opted for upgrade to All Inclusive Gold and it was well worth the money! It included everything in AIPlus plus some extra. Minibar and snacks were included which was nice and often at nights when stargazing enjoyed drinks from the minibar at our porch or beachchairs. At bars the selection of drinks was wide and good, premium selection was nice and I could enjoy my fav drink Aperol Spritz. Housewines were ok, red wine was tasty, rose too sweet for my taste and sadly white wine was not good at all, well this was not a problem because you had so many other drinks to choose from. We loved the atmosphere at Sangu and O bar. Food offered at buffet restaurants was good, and every night the theme changed. Wide selection of different kind of dishes were served on breakfast, lunch and dinner. We loved especially indian, Sri Lankan and Maldivian nights! Usually we ate at O or Sangu, both have lovely views and unique atmosphere and loved dining under the stars on the beach at Sangu or enjoying seabreeze at O. Also dined at Francos one evening (included to AIG), food was superb and fine dining quality. We ate also at the Beach Shack and my good the seafood platter was good, super fresh and well prepared! One of the highlights was lunch at Hurawalhis 5.8 Undersea restaurant, truly amazing looking at fishes underwater while enjoying fine dining lunch. It was 15min boat ride from Kuredu. Time flies on this island while you have so many things to do! We snorkled everyday, nearly every time saw seaturtles! At Kuredus house reef you will find colourful fishes and the coral is beginning to heal with lovely colours. We did also a half day snorkling trip to Komandoo and Hurawalhi, loved It! Sadly at our dolphin safari we saw no dolphins but at sunset cruise we did see them! Had also introduction dive (incl AIG), played golf (AIG) and enjoyed very relaxing Balinese massage at Dunyie Spa (AIG). Staff at Kuredu is always friendly, extremely helpful and to our amazement our Island Host Charlie called us twice during the holiday just to ask if everything was fine and enjoyed ourselves. Very special thanks to our waiter Mujey at O restaurant, he made our dining experience always special! Loved the island and sandbank at Sangu is lovely! The sunsets are amazing and most beautiful we have seen! When returning home we had 7 hours wait before flight home, so Kuredus guest services arranged us a tour at Male, which was nice and saw the main sights by walking and did not have to waite at the hot airport. All in all, we enjoyed our dream holiday at Kuredu and can warmly recommend it for a holiday in paradise!
