Holiday Review

What can I say that hasn't already been said by previous reviews... It was our first visit to this Island, and I think it's fair to say, will not be our last..This was my 4th visit to the Maldives, and this was a truly outstanding Island. The trip starts with the Seaplane to the Island, the views are truly stunning, this really sets the template for the rest of the holiday.. We stayed in one of the Sangu Water Villas, they are really well appointed, and in my opinion, well worth the extra expense.Whilst on that subject , the room attendant Mohammed is nothing short of superb, his attention to detail is amazing, and he definately deserves a mention !! Thank you for adding that attention that makes a holiday even more special... We went on the trip to the Turtle Sanctuary which was amazing, and the sunset cruise was very good- unfortunately no sightings of Dolphins. The food at the Sangu Restaurant was varied, plentiful, and enjoyable, plus with the theme night's every day all tastes are catered for.A special mention to Sam the Sous Chef, very helpful and always liked to chat about what we done and our plans for the following day. The buggy(s) that is the main method of transport for the Island are very good and we had the added bonus of being driven on 2 occasions by Patrick the GM...a very nice manager, and obviously out in the field getting his hands dirty !!! Brilliant !!! I'll sum up by saying this was a holiday to remember, memories to treasure and made even more so by all the staff on this beautiful Island of Paradise!! Graham Warner and Sally Simpson.

Our fourth visit

Crosby, United Kingdom

We introduced my brother-in-law & sister-in-law who are so sorry they have left it so long to visit Paradise. There have been lots of changes since we were there two years ago, all for the better - the mini bar has been extended, the sunbeds outside the villas have been recovered, the key is now an electronic card, door mat & shower mat is lovely & fluffy, the antiquated music system has been replaced for a sound bar so you can Bluetooth your music, reusable metal water bottles & reusable drinking straws you can buy & keep, a kettle & shaving mirror provided in villa. They have changed the cocktail menu. Most of them are either VERY sweet or quite sour. They still need to get that right. We should have had repeaters T-Shirts, but they ordered the wrong ones, so we didn’t get ours. It’s a shame, cos we would have worn them going home & again coming back next time. They’ve missed out of FREE advertising there 🤔 The food was as delicious as ever, but a bit disappointed they cut back on the lovely decorations in the restaurants on Valentine’s Day. They heavily plugged a beach BBQ for $99 per person. We thought that was extremely expensive so didn’t do it. We went back to the 5.8 restaurant for lunch, in the two years passed, there have been changed to the menu. The steak was the best steak we have EVER tasted. The surrounding have matured quite a lot in the sea, the coral has grown loads 👍 We also went to the Beach Shack & Franco’s for dinner which were delicious and romantic settings. The shout outs are to Manjula, Jay, Leslie, Mubah, Hamid & Rameez. Without these guys, our holiday wouldn’t have been as special as it was. Thank you all for all you do
