Magical Malaysia

We love talking holidays and we're here to help. If you'd like our advice on how to create an amazing Malaysia holiday, just give our Destination Specialists a call.

One of the easiest ways to see Malaysia is actually via the impressive road systems. Access can be gained to many of the key locations and interesting experiences by your personal driver. In order to make sure you see as much as you can, we suggest your first stop is in historical Malacca. Transfer the 1 hour 45 minutes directly down to this World Heritage city  when you land as Malacca is the place where the nation was born and where the past and present meets; a great starting point to really get to know this magical country. After a few days here, take the 2 hour drive up to the vast and diverse city of Kuala Lumpur to take in the sights of the capital before moving on to the Cameron Highlands for a different experience exploring tea plantations and magical waterfalls. After all this travelling and wonderful experiences, it's finally time to enjoy the fabulous city of Georgetown in Penang.

Destination Breakdown

This is the place where the nation was born, where the past and present meets. The history of Malaysia is said to have begun here, a great seaport where the Portuguese, Dutch and English once ruled. This once powerful and prosperous trading port is now a delightful historical city. Ensure you visit St. Paul’s Hill and A’Famosa Fort for a view of the Straits. Photo stop at the Stadhuys Building and the ruins of St. Paul’s Church. Enjoy a local Peranakan lunch followed by a stroll along Jonker’s Street or otherwise known as the “Antique Row”.

Kuala Lumpur

From magnificent mosques to an iconic skyline Kuala Lumpur is a diverse city that has something for everyone, and is a great stop over at the begining or end a holiday.

Cameron Highlands

Experience the cool climate of this hill resort with its gardens and tea plantations, meet local aboriginals, and explore a lush landscape of jungle, rivers and waterfalls.

We love testing Penang's reputation as Malaysia's food capital, by eating our way through the local Nonya cuisine, a lip-smacking blend of Chinese and Malay styles. Penang is also well known for its cultural sights, sandy beaches, colonial Georgetown and colourful night markets. It is great for those who want to explore what this fantastic island has to offer.
