Itinerary Breakdown

To fully experience this vast and diverse city we would recommend at least 3 days in Kuala Lumpur at the start of this great combination of city, beach and culture multicentre. Stay at the Traders Hotel, for amazing unobstructed views of the Petronas Towers by day or night. This hotel is centrally located which makes it a great base for sightseeing and shopping.

Overnight Accommodation

We love testing Penang's reputation as Malaysia's food capital, by eating our way through the local Nonya cuisine, a lip-smacking blend of Chinese and Malay styles. Penang is also well known for its cultural sights, sandy beaches, colonial Georgetown and colourful night markets. It is great for those who want to explore what this fantastic island has to offer. You could easily spend 4 days here and leave wanting to come back for more.

Overnight Accommodation

  • Shangri-La's Rasa Sayang

In Langkawi take a trip in the cable car to fully appreciate the full beauty of this island. Once at the top step out onto the Sky bridge, 708 metres above sea level this is not for the faint hearted, but has breathtaking views and on a clear day you can see some Thai Islands on the horizon. The white sands of Datai Beach are surrounded by natural beauty and the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun, and take in the postcard views.
