Hip Luxury in Heritage neighbourhood

A Typical AUTOGRAPH Collection hotel that comes packed with all the charm and beauty associated with this special collection of hotels from the marriott chain. While it is located in a historic neighborhood district surrounded by heritage buildings, the hotel itself is all Hip and Chic with a French flair mixed with Asian style all through the premises. An absolute value for money and an indulgence that wont bite your wallet. LOCATION: Located right next to famous Asian HERITAGE ROW, you are stone’s throw away from most points of interest and a selection of cool F&B establishments DINE + DRINK: While the bar next to the swimming pool is not as great as in their photos, the View is intoxicating. So do drop by for a couple of sunset pics and sundowners! The breakfast spread is good enough with a mix of asian and continental cuisine and served in a very swanky lobby level restaurant ROOM: I stayed in an upgraded room (1704), so this review is based on that; VIEW: Lovely view of the Cityscape; SIZE: Very spacious room; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand in shower; TOILETRIES: Lovely SPA quality cosmetics FACILITIES: While the Gym was a bit compact, it was good enough for a full on workout and comes fitted with a range of weights and Cardio machines from TECHNOGYM. They do have a Great swimming pool that is outdoor and warm throughout the year. SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all my needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout out to Mr.REZA at the front desk! HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free high speed Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. Big Plasma TV screen, but very poor selection of Entertainment channels!

Excellent visit!

Canberra, Australia

My sister and I stayed here for one night for an overnight shopping trip, and we were very happy with the level of service and comfort we experienced. The reception staff was very helpful and indeed, although we arrived at about 8.30am, way before the usual check in time, our room was ready and we were allowed to check in and refresh ourselves after our flight. The bellboy also helpfully informed us that the minibar was complimentary (only soft drinks were in the fridge) and we made full use of it! 😊 We also appreciated the little hanging bowl of local Malaysian sweets, which was a nice touch, and certainly something we had not eaten since we were kids! I also very much liked the complimentary wifi. A couple of things that could be improved on however - it would be nicer to have individual bathroom amenities (shampoo, conditioner and body wash) instead of the two big pump bottles, where one is a conditioning shampoo and the other the body wash. Having said that though, the quality of both products was excellent. The room could also do with better soundproofing as we could hear people moving about in the hallway and hear them speaking. Nonetheless, the shower pressure (something I always notice!) was excellent and the bed very comfortable and the linen was clean as well. We also liked the decor in the room that showcases old photos of Kuala Lumpur - it was a nice vintage touch and lent personality to the room.
