Boutique sanctuary for the senses

It’s new and it’s stunning. Opened in July 2018, this is the very first Banyan Tree hotel in Malaysia. It is strategically located in the heart of the city’s Golden Triangle – perfect for both shopping, sightseeing an exploring the huge number of restaurants on offer in this capital city.

Occupying the top seven floors of one of the city’s most striking buildings the Banyan Tree Signatures Pavilion, the hotel has just 55 exquisite rooms and suites. For a capital city hotel, this is small, but the service and facilities are world class and not in short supply.

Most rooms offer stunning cityscape views and whatever room you choose, you will enjoy a Sanctuary for the Senses, with Banyan Tree’s signature aromatherapy essentials and chromotherapy shower (the use of coloured lights in your shower).

There is a host of dining options to choose from – each designed to deliver a great culinary and sensory experience. From a French-inspired bakery at the Lobby – Bake by Banyan Tree; sky-high afternoon tea and wine lounge on 53rd Floor – Altitude, to an exquisite seafood and grill restaurant on 58th Floor – Horizon Grill and the tallest hotel rooftop bar in the city centre on 59th Floor – Vertigo, the finest Kuala Lumpur has to offer. And when you need a break from exploring the city – book some me-time at the Banyan Tree Spa a place for physical, mental and spiritual renewal.

We had a massage but only when it was offered half price

Basildon, United Kingdom

Nothing special same as everywhere, far too expensive. Pleasant staff I always wonder why these hotel spas are so expensive given the staff are so poorly paid, must be a good profit for the hotel operators. People pay the prices because they are on holiday

Family holiday Beach Villa - April 10th to 19th

We stayed in a beachfront villa which was well maintained with a plunge pool and hot tub and it was cleaned twice a day at times to suit us. Front office and restaurant customer service were first class and all requests were accommodated without any fuss or bother. The holiday was the perfect "do nothing" break although there were plenty of water sports and excursions on offer if you wanted them. From the moment we were met at the airport to our checkout we had a fantastic time due to the discreet but excellent customer service on offer.
