Excellent service, perfect location & value for money!

Love this hotel very much, it was renovated and well maintain! The room I got is very clean with a great sea view, I had a very good quality sleep with the bed. Breakfast selection is fantastic!!! Many choices and good quality food and coffee. There also a sauna and steam room on male and female changing room. This hotel is at the perfect location, just central of the city! It is near to the markets, jetty and about 20min away from the Airport. The Experience Specialist - Rodney is amazing!!! He work very long hour and remember what I like to drink for breakfast and happy hour, he also share with me food places he like and places to visit, I'm sooooo glad I met him during the stay! I have good care and great experience with him during the stay.

Great Hotel

I’m airline staff and have been ‘hoteling’ for nearly 40 years. We stayed at Le Meridien in Kota Kinabalu for ten days in July and really loved it. The thing that stands out the most about this hotel is the wonderful service. Every member of staff that we came across was friendly and ready to have a chat. They rival any 5* London hotel on service. Many thanks to Rodney and the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable. We used most of the facilities in the hotel. The bedrooms were huge with a great view overlooking the sea. Beautifully kept by our maid. My son used the gym every day, and thought it was very well equipped. We used the pool most days and loved the great big sail ‘shade’ over it. A welcome respite from the heat. We loved the sun chairs and there was always some free, no matter what time of day we arrived. Breakfast was plentiful and of good quality - something for everyone. We had dinner a few times in the restaurant and it was fantastic. Thanks to Colin for always serving us with a smile. There was building work going on in the hotel on the upper floors, but we didn’t notice any noise or have any discomfort throughout our stay. There is no Exec club at the moment, but they did do drinks and canapés in the restaurant by the pool in the early evening, and this was really nice. Great view of the sunset. I rarely give 5 stars for a hotel, but I couldn’t fault this. I would happily stay here again next time I’m in Borneo. Thanks to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so enjoyable.’
