Mount Kinabalu Borneo

Southeast Asia's Highest Mountain

The highest peak in Southeast Asia, Mount Kinabulu looms 4,095 metres over the landscape. The views from the summit are sublime, especially at sunrise. Most people who make the climb do so over two days; a guide and a climbing permit are compulsory. The surrounding Kinabalu National Park is incredibly biologically diverse, with a thousand species of orchid, 600 types of fern, and 320 kinds of birdlife.
