Crystal Cove State Park

Crystal Cove State Park offers a wide, sandy beach stretching for over three miles and backed by wooded canyons and open bluffs. The Crystal Cove Historic District features 46 historic, vintage coastal cottages built in the 1920s and 1930s and nestled around the mouth of Los Trancos Creek. A small museum details the history of the area. There is a strenuous, nine mile hike up and down numerous ridges and valleys, offering spectacular views across the Pacific and east toward Santiago. The hike loops around the perimeter of the backcountry, depositing you back at the start.
