Butterfly Gardens

Family Friendly Venue

The Samui Butterfly Garden, located at the south end of Koh Samui, is set in a beautifully landscaped, netted garden with tropical plants, man-made waterfalls and pools, and a kaleidoscope of butterfly species. The butterflies fly freely throughout the garden, landing and feeding on the sweet treats the keepers have left out for them. A display of rare insects from Thailand includes scorpions, spiders, stick and leaf insects, and caterpillars. Walk the 50 steps to the hillside observatory for a breathtaking view over the coast or take a trip on the glass-bottomed boat to see the coral reefs at Wang Bay.

Explore a kaleidoscope of colour at this stunning open-air and netted butterfly garden. The landscaped grounds are filled with colourful tropical butterflies and lined with sweet fruits that butterflies love to entice them closer. The garden also allows you to study butterfly host plants, explore the Insect Museum and see a bee house, and offers great opportunities for photography enthusiasts.
