Ol Seki Hemingways Mara

Located in the heart of the Naboisho Conservancy, bordering the Maasai Mara Reserve, sits just 10 exclusive luxury tents in Kenya's wildest terrain. Ol Seki Hemingways Mara offers guests a truly private safari experience, as the conservancy only allows entry to clients staying within the area. This personable and intimate stay means that each day is tailored to your desires.

Naboisho Conservancy includes contributions from over 500 Maasai landowners, and the tourism here ensures they receive a sustainable livelihood. Although as the number of tourists permitted to enter the conservancy are limited, the wildlife here really thrives. In fact, research indicates that Naboisho has one of the highest densities of lion in Africa, along with large numbers of elephant, giraffe, and even wild dog.

Consider combining your stay at Hemingways Nairobi and Hemingways Watamu for an unforgettable Kenyan adventure; from the city to the African bush, and eventually to the idyllic Indian Ocean.

Bucket list number one!!!

Bournemouth, United Kingdom

From the minute we arrived and to the minute we left was just soooo fantastic!! For once,as my husband could confirm, I am absolutely speechless. This trip was planned over a year with turquoise holidays and it was absolutely perfection!! Debbie greeted us at the camp and showed us to our tent. The view from our tent was spectacular and we spent time outside our tent with a beer from our cool box looking over the savannah. The insects were kept at bay by the tents being zipped up and there was spray if one got in. The hot water bottle was a lovely touch as well as the hot chocolate in the morning before our game drive. The pool was a bonus and lovely to use before and after lunch. We saw the bees but were never bothered by them. Very refreshing and fantastic view over the watering hole. Had great laughs watching Pumba chase other animals away to wallow in the mud. We were well looked after by David and his team with drinks by the pool. The food was excellent and I never did get the recipe for the delicious banana fool. Our guides Isaac and Agnes never failed to show us something different everyday. From the lioness moving her cubs that we nearly missed dinner because we wanted to make sure the cubs were safe to the bush dinner where the lions made a kill! Their knowledge was unbelievable never mind their driving skills. As for Debbie, the best manager I have ever known, made our holiday complete. We had a bush breakfast, cave dinner, dinner in our tent as it rained and the unbelievable bush dinner. Everything is run perfectly, even the personal escort from your tent to dinner or back from your evening drive. We never had a problem, as someone previously mentioned in getting an escort. It was good fun flashing a torch! We will definitely return and again to all at Ol Seki thank you x
