Service should be improved

1. Irritation of Checking-in When we arrived, the front staff told me without hesitation that there's no non-smoking room even though we booked non-smoking room a month earlir. He told me I should wait 30 minutes for the non-smoking room to be ready even though we arrived 3:30pm and the check-in time is 3 o'clock. We have small kids who can't wait that much and they insisted to go to the pool and I asked where we could change and he told me to use the toilet in the lobby. I really didn't expect this as we came here to stay, not day-pass visit, and we came here to stay comfortably but what we had to do was to wait another 30 minutes for the room and change clothes in the toilet. Then he told me he'd call when the room's ready but no calling after 30 minutes so I went the front to ask. There's another front staff and he told me somewhat surprisingly that room's ready as if he couldn't understand why I was waiting even though the room's ready long time ago. I've already felt like regretting to come here in the first 1 hour at the front. Then I asked where the bell boy was to help our luggages to the room and he showed me the direction where nobady was. Everything here was totally unacceptable and full of absurdity which was almost like a comedy. I've never written so long complaints just about checking in to the 5 star hotel. 2. Call at 9pm After the check-in, unfortunately, there're still things I need to complain but room service called us 9pm which was out of my patience as my kids slept already. The reason they called us was to bring towels we asked 5 hours ago, which we asked because they called us if we needed anything and we wouldn't have asked them if I knew this happen. And those towels we asked never arrived during our stay. The room, landscapes and architectures are very nice but their software was somewhat the level of catastrophe. To be fair, they offered us upgrade of the room for the late check-in which was 19jd difference in the booking.com and 30% discounts of the dinner buffet which was 10jd but I felt that can't be compensated as their attitude was something like they're doing something very good for us like giving us as a charity not for the compensation.

Can't get over how amazing this place is

Boston, Massachusetts

Definitely one of my Jordan trip highlights, especially since I wanted time to relax and renew. I basically spent all my time by the beach and in the spa, which has beautiful facilities. The entire hotel is GORGEOUS. Everyone treated me so well and every request was met immediately. I dropped my phone in water at Wadi Mujib, and they gave me a giant bag of rice to help dry it in! Not to mention, I had a bank card crisis and they helped me contact my bank to take care of it. They gave me wonderful sea view rooms when I was there. As a platinum marriott member, I can say this was my favorite Marriott hotel so far. It was amazing service and I would definitely go back. In fact, I extended my stay there an extra night because I was so happy there. For dining, I ate a Mosaico and it was great. Definitely go if you're trying to relax or take a break from all your Jordan adventures!
