Mother Nature has well and truly blessed Japan with bounds of natural beauty and wonderful parks, landscapes and vistas to enjoy during your holiday.

Ueno-koen Park

The place to see Japan’s famous cherry blossom each spring, Tokyo’s largest park is also home to the Tokyo National Museum, the National Museum of Nature and Science, the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, the National Museum of Western Art, the Shitamachi History Museum, the park zoo, and the Nikko Toshogu Shrine.

Maruyama Park

Japan famously comes alive with cherry blossoms every April and May, when delicate pink flowers cover sakura trees across the country. One of the most loved cherry blossom parties is held at Maruyama Park, offering a beautiful glimpse into Japan's cultural and natural splendour.

Nara Park

Considered in Shinto to be messengers of the Gods, the 1,200 roaming deer in Nara Park are surprisingly tame and make for a great sight while you stroll through the grounds. Deer crackers are available around the park so you can feed these national treasures as you wander.

Lake Ashinoko

Found in the Hakone area of Japan, Lake Ashinoko is a crater lake and a very popular spot to visit and enjoy a leisurely boat trip, taking in the scenic views of Mount Hakone.

Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park

Pay your respects to those who died at the hands of the world's first atomic bomb. The memorials, monuments and museums here include the Peace Flame, that promises to burn continuously until the world is free of nuclear arms. You'll also find here the A-Bomb Dome which symbolises the international desire for peace.
