This is what l call a holiday

The perfect Bali location. 20 acres of beautiful gardens, pools and appartments Stroll around the complex, across the manicured lawns , walk the beach for a hour or two. Safe and no hawkers trying to sell anything. Breakfast at Tamin Gitta what more can you say, what a lovely way to start your day. Lounge by the water and have that incredible poolside service The Sunset Bar ahahahah. Sitting on the edge of the Jimbaram beach. Look back at the perfect sunset photos you have every taken while sipping on a delectable cocktail and say it’s not heaven. Thank you you made it feel like l was coming home to family.

Great Resort

Minnesota

We spent a week at this resort at the end of September/beginning of October. Whilst our views on Bali aren't the greatest (it is not the beautiful tropical paradise its reputation lends itself to be), but I will say the Intercontinental Resort in Bali is stunningly beautiful! We had a suite in the Intercontinental Club and the staff were wonderful. We were picked up by car at the airport and it's only a short drive to the resort & our check in was seamless. We ate breakfast every morning at the Club Lounge and it might be the nicest club lounge I have ever been in. There was a buffet for bfast and you can also order off the menu. The food and service at bfast was superb. There is afternoon canapés, although we did not avail ourselves to this service. There is also a late afternoon/early evening cocktail hour. We stayed at the ocean side tables in the Club section of the resort for that, every evening. The staff was also excellent there at the pool. We did take a tour thru the hotel and that was kind of a disaster. We spoke to Fathan (a concierge in the Club Lounge) and he was very informative and gave us great ideas, but we wanted to do a little more research and unfortunately we did not book the tour then. We went back the next day to book the tour and it was Fathan's day off. So we were very explicit what we wanted to see and the how long we wanted to be on the tour and the woman who assisted us just kept saying yes to everything. She booked the driver (thru the hotel) and we assumed she told him the itinerary (which she indicated she would do). We get in the van the next morning and the driver asked where we wanted to go - it was a wtf moment. and whilst he was extremely polite and did his very best to communicate with us, he usually drove Japanese tourists and not english speaking ones, so we had a difficult time communicating to him what we wanted to see and do. Again, our driver was great and he tried his hardest, but there was a language barrier that the concierge
