Bullet Train from Hiroshima to Kyoto

Utilising the local public transport may not be at the forefront of everyone’s mind on holiday, but Japan’s bullet train is a must-do experience regardless of whether city-hopping is the aim. Japan has over 1,500 miles of high speed rail track, but more impressive is the (up to) 200mph top speed. Between Tokyo and Osaka, trains run like clockwork every three minutes, a once in a lifetime experience for most British commuters!
Passengers can travel between the cities of Hiroshima and Kyoto in as little as two hours and 25 minutes, meaning tourists can take in the humbling past of historic Hiroshima, and tranquil Kyoto with its temples, shrines and monuments all in one day.
