On your second day, why not take a visit to majestic Diamond Head, the extinct volcano is the backdrop to Waikiki Beach and offers superb views from the summit. Next up take a trip to the exclusive Kahala residential area where some of Hawaii’s most spectacular homes are found and pass by Lolani Palace, the King Kamehameha Statue, and the Governor’s Mansion. This afternoon, travel to the scenic North Shore to see the dramatic coastline and some of the most revered surfing beaches of the State.

Drop your car off at the airport for your flight to Kauai, the oldest island in the Hawaiian chain. Kauai’s first settlers appeared in approximately the 4th or 5th century A.D. Centuries passed before Captain Cook found Kauai on his voyage to Alaska. Kauai’s residents are proud of the fact that it was the only Hawaiian island never conquered by King Kamehameha’s forces.

Spend some time exploring the beautiful Garden Isle, celebrated for its brilliant emerald green tropical scenery. Visit Bali Hai and Hanalei Bay, made famous by the movie South Pacific, as well as the beautiful Waimea Canyon - also known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific.

This morning return you car to Lihue Airport for the short flight to Maui, the second largest island in the Hawaiian chain.

Visit tranquil Iao Valley, often cloaked in mystical fog, even when the rest of the island is bathed in bright sunlight. Here you will see the Lao Needle, a sharply pointed lava pinnacle rising 1,200 feet above the valley floor. Why not visit Lahaina town for lunch or dinner and shopping along the waterfront.

Drive the winding road to Hana; stopping off along the way to see cascading waterfalls, visit Haleakala Crater at sunrise or sunset for the beautiful views and if you travel November through to March, you should see whales off the coast too.

On your final day, bid the Hawaiian Islands a fond farewell, your drive to Kahului airport for your flight home to conclude your memorable stay.
