Your Galapagos adventure begins as you arrive at Seymour Airport on Baltra Island. You’ll be met and driven to M/V Galapagos Legend, your home for the next few days. Once you’ve boarded and settled in, you can sit back and enjoy the views as you cruise across the water to Santa Cruz Island. As you step off the boat, you’ll be picked up and taken to Black Turtle Cove, or El Chato Tortoise Reserve.

Black Turtle Cove sits on the northern part of the island. Its shallow waters boast an array of marine life; you may just spot young hammerhead sharks, rays, sea turtles and seabirds.

A journey to El Chato Tortoise Reserve will take you into the highlands of Santa Cruz Island. Wander the reserve’s lush vegetation and watch in awe as Galapagos giant tortoise roam in their natural habitat. You might also catch sight of a variety of birds, including Darwin finches and short-eared owls.
