Great place for a weekend with the family

Oakville, Canada

We are a family of 4 (2 kids), we went in June 2018 and my kids had a great time, they have access to the lake and activities to do (inflatables, kayaks, etc). They also have a nice indoor pool and a farm where you can watch farm animals and horseback riding (you have to pay extra for these activities). I would recommend this place

Disappointing response to problem

We were on the way to close the cottage & since it was so cold we decided to stay the night at Deerhurst so we wouldn’t freeze! We had a nice dinner at the Compass restaurant but while we were warm climbing into bed unfortunately we didn’t get much sleep because of the tiny in-room fridge which had a glass door and a light that went on & off like a strobe. We finally had to turn the front towards the wall as we couldn’t reach the plug to shut it off. In the morning when we checked out I told the front desk about it and the response was just a sorry. Disappointing from a customer service point of view.
