Fresh, friendly and fuss-free.

Hotel Jen Hong Kong by Shangri-La is a great option for guests who want to get around this vibrant city with ease. Just 30 minutes from Hong Kong International Airport, 10 minutes from the Airport Express, Hong Kong Station and 5 minutes from the Macau Ferry Terminal. This neighbourhood is great for exploring by foot, and seeing how locals live their lives day to day.  For guests who are looking for night time entertainment, SoHo is within walking distance with restaurants, bars, nightclubs and art galleries.

Start you day by getting a workout in at the on-site fitness centre, and then cool down at the outdoor pool. The good news? It's all on the rooftop, which means you get beautiful views overlooking Victoria Harbour.

Loved it!

Quezon City, Philippines

Booked Hotel Jen because it was near my sister's seminar and I was pleasantly surprised that the room (superior twin room with city view) was more spacious than I expected. The view from the window was awesome! The check-in and check-out was easy and fuss free and the staff was very helpful. It's right beside the MTR station HKU exit B2 so very convenient. There is also a 7-11 nearby as well as Artisan Room where you can have coffee and Itacho Sushi for dinner. Quiet area but near enough Central. Loved the whole experience, would definitely stay here again!

City getaway

London, United Kingdom

A brilliant hotel. Spotlessly clean and excellent staff and service. Its a 30 second walk to HKU station woth around 5-10 minute walk through the station to platforms which are very well signposted in english. There is an airport express train which would take about an hour with a change at central station and around £12. I took the shuttle organised by the hotel for £14, which was easy to use, come out of the exit at the airport to desk B18 and a lady escorts you to the shuttle. Central station is 3 stops from the hotel on the (blue) island line. A tourist day travel card is £6.50 and can only be got from the customer service centre. They last for a 24 hour period. The hotel is located with lots of shops close by and also a mcdonalds on the corner. There is a hotel shuttle that takes you to central and back but unsure of the times as didnt use it. The big buddha is a must see but dont be fooled into expensive day trips. Take the island line (blue) feom the hotel and change at central station for the tung chung line (orange) all the way to the cable car entry which is opposite the station. The cable car was around £33 each per return ride. The ride takes about 25 minutes each way and the views are amazing, if the cable car scares you there is a bus which is about £15, i just kept my eyes closed most of the way. But it is really worth it, they are 250 steps up to the buddah and again it is worth it. The village there has coffee shops, tourist shops and lots of clean public toilets. Get there early though to beat the ques, it opens at 10am. Also make sure you do the peak tram which is close to central station and very well sign posted and £7 each, the views are amazing. Also take the star ferry from pier 7 over to kowloon for £1.20 each way, amazing views, make sure tou take tge higher platform to get on the upper deck as you will be unable to use the stairs on ferry as they are closed off. Also check out temple street night market for the experience, jordan street station is the closest. The hotel room is a fair size and the beds are huge and super comfy. The bathroom was very small but well equipped and clean. There were conplimentry toiletries including toothpaste and toothbrush. Also had hairdrier. There is tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a small fridge. Also 4 bottles of water were provided each day. The pool terrace area is lovely with views of the mountain behind and the water in front. The gym is also well equipped with good air con. The air con and water pressure and temperature in the room were also spot on. I can not find any fault with this hotel at all. I would definately stay again and it is suitable for elderly, young couple and families. I didnt eat at the hotel so unable to comment.
