Beijing 798 Art Zone

Dating back to the 1950s, visit the Beijing 798 Art Zone, an area thriving with galleries, studios, bookshops, workshops and cafes. Housed in an unusual complex of factory buildings, the Beijing 798 Art Zone is now home to an impressive community of artists and exhibitions including the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art, and is also home to many unique eateries including the Shenji Cai Guan restaurant and the Ace Café 751.

National Museum of China.

Sitting to the side of Tiananmen Square, this much-loved museum aims to educate people about the arts and cultural history of China. Covering Chinese history from the Yuanmou Man to the Qing Dynasty, discover over one million precious and rare artefacts, including the Simuwu Ding from the Shang Dynasty.
