Wildlife of Chile Tour
Our Wildlife of Chile Tour takes you on an exciting journey through the world’s longest country in search of endemic wildlife. You’ll travel from little seaside ports to glacial fields, spotting fascinating creatures along the way.
The tour starts in the highlands of Santiago de Chile, where you’ll meet the endemic wildlife of central Chile, including the Chilean Tinamou and the Moustached Turca. Then, it’s on to Puerto Montt, a little seaside town where you can enjoy the finest seafood and stroll along streets full of brightly coloured houses.
Our tour continues on to Puerto Varas, where you’ll discover a small collection of islands. You can see colonies of penguins around the rocky coast along with humpback whales, storm petrels and more at Francisco Coloane Park. Start your mornings watching the sunrise while taking in the incredible views of snowy mountains and blue glaciers.
Next, we’ll visit the UNESCO listed Torres National Park, where you can sail across lakes or try paddle boarding. There’s more wildlife here and no shortage of breath taking views to impress – the huge granite rocks and surrounding glaciers are a true sight to behold.
