The Pacific Northwest and South Eastern Canada are combined in this fabulous 7 day escorted small group tour. Visit Olympic National Park and Vancouver Island to experience the rugged coastline both share, which is home to black bears and orca whales. Included in the itinerary are two Zodiac boat tours in search of these magificent creatures, along with walking trails, Kayaking on Lake Crescent, a visit to the Hoh Rainforest and a glamping experience.

Welcome to Seattle, Washington State. Your adventure begins in the Pacific Northwest and allows you some time to explore this fabulous city prior to your welcome meal this evening where you can get better acquainted with your fellow travellers and your tour guide.  After checking in to your hotel head out to explore famous Pike Place Market; watch the fish mongers 'tossing the fish', or take part in a tour around the market and sample some of the local cuisine.

Today is spent exploring the incredible Olympic National Park, with its distinct ecosystems, rainforests and range of wildlife. Start the day with a visit to the Hoh Rain Forest located in the Pacific Northwest Rainforest where deer roam, trees offer camouflage and you will feel like you are on a movie set. The night will be spent in Cabins on the short of Lake Crescent amongst the giant fir and hemlock trees , gather round to watch the sunset with your fellow travellers.

The in morning head out to Rialto Beach on the wild Pacific coast , a 2 mile hike along the trail to Hole-in-the-Wall leads you to the resting place of giant drift wood which have reached their final resting place near the sand. From here your guide will help you to hopefully see a number of different creatures from whales, sea lions and otters. After heading back to your cabins take to the water in Kayaks and experience the peace and tranquillity on the lake with the mountains reflecting in the water.

A ferry awaits you in Port Angeles this morning as you head to Victoria in British Columbia where you will take an Orca whale viewing Zodiac Tour in search of these magnificent mammals. This exhilarating ride in the open air is sure to be one of the highlights of your trip. Later on head to your accommodation located on Victoria which gives you access to the areas most exciting experiences.

Today takes you around the coastal road before heading inland to MacMillan Provincial Park. The oldest tress of this ancient Douglas Fir ecosystem date back roughly 800 years and you will be amazed at the size they can grow. Continue inland to the Pacific Rim Mational Park where a walk along the popular Schooner Cove trail awaits. This two kilometre hike passes rainforests and streams before arriving to the beachfront where you can take in the magnificent views.  Continue on to Tofino area and check in to the WYA Point Resort Yurts which are a unique tenting experience just steps from the ocean,  a true glamping experience where you will fall asleep to the sounds of the water over the next two nights.

Witness bears in their natural habitat, today offers this unique opportunity but do not be surprised if you also see bald eagles and whales as you take a scenic boat trip on the Clayoquot Sound Inlets to explore the protected wilderness beaches and inlets the bears call home. Travelling by zodiac boat allows your guide to get you close enough without causing the bears distress or upsetting their natural feeding patterns giving you the best chance to witness these magnificent creatures as a family, mothers teaching cubs, climbing trees and playing in the shallow waters.

As you depart Vancouver Island as you set off from Nanaimo across the Salish Sea, take in the view of the small islands and panoramic view of the city of Vancouver. After the wilderness just experienced the return to the city may come as a shock to the system, however a a drive through Stanley park and a stop at Prospect Point which offers spectacular views soon offers more picture perfect moments.

The tour ends at approx. 17:00hrs and we would recommend booking post tour accommodation. If you are planning on flying this evening please do not book a flight that departs before 21:00hrs. Please speak with our team about your post tour arrangments.
