Churchill Town and Tundra Polar Bears Tour - Enthusiast Package

Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure – one that cannot be replicated anywhere else on earth. This tour allows you a unique opportunity to view the majestic polar bear in its natural habitat – often extremely close-up – from an official Tundra Buggy®, as well as a chance to experience the eclectic charm of Churchill.

Start with a night’s stay in Manitoba’s capital, Winnipeg, before beginning your real adventure with a flight over frozen plains, boreal forests and lakes of the Manitoba hinterlands to remote town of Churchill, on the shores of Hudson Bay. Once in Churchill, you’ll get a chance to immerse yourself in the fascinating culture and heritage of the town, from visiting historic Cape Merry to seeing the famous ‘Polar Bear Jail’.

The following days are spent on the thrilling and impressive Tundra Buggy® – a gigantic bear-proof vehicle that travels across the frozen plains as you observe the incredible polar bears, and other arctic wildlife, including caribou, snowy owls and Arctic foxes and hares. The curious bears will often approach the buggy and stand up to peer at the windows, giving an opportunity to capture amazing photographs to commemorate your unforgettable northern Canadian experience.
