Capilano Suspension Bridge

Adventure through the treetops

One of Vancouver's most popular tourist attractions, the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park takes you on a thrilling adventure through the treetops.

Start by crossing the Capilano Suspension Bridge that swings at 450 feet above the Capilano River. Not one for the fainthearted, a walk on the bridge is a definitive Vancouver experience. Then, explore the cantilevered walkway above Capilano Canyon and the seven suspension bridges through the evergreens on the Treetops Adventure. Try the Cliffwalk, a series of narrow bridges and platforms and suspended walkways jutting out from the cliff face. This journey takes you through the rainforest  following the Capilano River.

Deep within the verdant pine forest of one of Canada’s most beautiful destinations, the bridge stretches between granite cliffs while the Capilano River thunders 230 feet below. Feel the spring and bounce of others’ footsteps as you tread across the walkway. While level with the tree line you can enjoy a squirrel’s perspective of the surrounding greenery and the great mountain ranges in the distance. Beyond the bridge, elevated forest walks take you to the weather-worn totem poles erected by the First Nations.

If you're visiting Vancouver, this experience is not to be missed; if you dare.
