Fantastic Family Friendly Hotel

Toronto, Canada

We just spend a great weekend at the Chelsea with our 4 yo and we had a great time. We live in Toronto so we were looking for a family friendly hotel for a staycation and we could not be more happier with our choice. It is indeed a very big and busy hotel but we were treated with courtesy and kindness everytime we interacted with staff. Check in was fast and we got upgraded to a room with an extra bed for our little guy. They have a "kids check in" where the kids can go and check in and get a toy. Adorable! The room we got was nothing fancy but it was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed (except a mini fridge). The kids pool is fantastic with the water slide and it has a whirlpool for mama to be in while kid is playing on the kids pool. The kids center is a huge room, full of toys and games 2 cute bunnies and fishes, truly amazing. But the best part is that you can drop the kid off for 10 dollars an hour. Best 10 bucks I have ever spent! Shout out to Erin and Francesco who were amazing and playing with and keeping the kids entertained while mama and papa where enjoying the adult pool and sunbathing on the deck :). On Saturday afternoon they were giving free popcorn and ice tea for everyone and there was even a talking robot making some rounds in the lobby! We truly loved our stay and would recommend to anyone travelling with kids to stay here.

Old and needs renovations

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Whilst the location is good, there are plenty of other large chain hotels close by with the same/better location. The rooms are old and need an update. The passage smells of old/wet carpet and the balcony is just dirty concrete. No mini fridge in the room either. The food is basic and expensive, but lots of restaurants/eat out places within walking distance. The internet is so slow, that it’s unusable for anything other than whatsapp. (Download speed 0.75mbps)
