First stay at the Lord Elgin

Toronto, Canada

Booked this hotel for a couple of days for 3 adults, spur of the moment decision. We also opted for a valet parking. Overall, this hotel shows well. From the time you walk in, there is a welcoming atmosphere from all the staff. The room is immaculate, the pool area and the hot tub was great. The restaurant menu on the main floor, covers a variety of choices. We were all happy with our meals and drinks. The only complaint we have is, the pillows are too small for a queen size bed and it doesn't give you much head support, it's almost flat when you're on the pillow. Maybe, have extra pillows available in the closet, will be great.

Nicest people ever

My father and I got into a car accident across the street from the Lord Elgin Hotel. We pulled in front of the hotel as we waited for CAA to tow the car. The hotel staff, Nicholas and Cole, rushed out to check if we were ok, bring us water and offer us any assistance they could. Cole and Nicholas were so reassuring and supportive during the stressful situation. Their kindness was a reminder of the best of humanity in difficult circumstances.
