Clean and comfortable

Halifax, Canada

I stayed one night in a king room (1020) that was comfortable and clean. The bathroom is tiny, but nicely appointed. The bed was comfortable, and there was ample room for me to read and do my paperwork in the evening. I found the noise from the heating unit to be a bit much (very loud fan, and clicking noises as the heat went on and off). Once I turned that off I noticed I could hear a decent amount of traffic noise. Checking in and out was fast and friendly, and I was able to quickly get a cab any time I wanted one.

Quiet at night, clean and bright

Toronto, Canada

It's a nice place to be at, while visiting Ottawa in the dead of winter. Just one bus 97 from the Ottawa airport got us to the Delta, with no stress and an affordable commute! This hotel is so close that you can walk to some of the local attractions. Parliament Hill, Byward Market, Cadillac Fairview Mall and shopping, restaurants, Supreme Court of Canada, Bank of Canada, Bank of Canada museum, and a few Starbucks! And, we walked back after doing a long day of eating and wandering, so while our room is considered basic, and the bathroom small, it suited our needs just fine. We walked back from Shawarma Palace, and we literally needed to...their food portions so large, that both of us couldn't finish and we had leftovers, so our little mini fridge will keep our food until we are ready to chow down on it for round two! No in-room safe, but we didn't need it. Ottawa has so many CCTV security cameras, you probably won't have any problems anywhere! The check in was fine, and did not take long. The concierge/desk clerks were all very nice. Provided directions for local food options on our first night. Camille was our concierge, doing a great job and we were so pleased, we might return again to see Ottawa in the spring/summer and stay here. Fresh fruit-infused water and cold water greet visitors and a few benches beckon weary travelers. A Tim Hortons is connected to the hotel. The saltwater pool was not available during this visit. We were lucky to get a room this visit...the Toronto Maple Leafs were in town, and we kept seeing waves of fans in blue and white. Appropriately our hotel had the cutest walls in the elevator...the lyrics to O Canada...LOVE it! Gorgeous views of the city can be seen from the penthouse
