An historic hotel

Herts

The hotel is is old but has a modern touch. The room we had was clean and comfortable. The staff were welcoming. For me, the star was the swimming pool. It was about 25 metres long and had a shallow end for children and a deep end of 8 feet. It is outdoor, but is heated and provides an enjoyable experience.

Castle overlooking the bay

Winkler, Manitoba

Very nice hotel with a great location on hilltop overlooking Digby harbour. Must have been a grand place in its day and still has much character and charm. Geared toward senior citizens it would seem - run down, poorly equipped gym for one.
