happy with my stay / club floor not worth the $

Toronto

Stayed at the hotel in mid-January. At the time, it was heavily booked, so the only room we could get was on the "club floor"...this was $299/night (with taxes + fees closer to $350). Way too expensive for the hotel/city...I don't blame the hotel itself for this...we needed a downtown room and this was that was available. The room price included their buffet breakfast and WiFi. The buffet itself was mediocre (although it did have a waffle machine that I enjoyed). WiFi was great - no problems at all, high speed, no issues with streaming netfix, etc. The cleaning staff is great...very thorough and pleasant...but they did show up pretty early in the morning and never bothered "knocking" before they tried to come in. If you don't want someone trying to walk in unannounced at 9 am then use the dnd sign on the door. Hotel is in a great location - and it's attached to the mall, aquatic centre, market, and arena (without having to walk outside). The front desk staff was extremely helpful and pleasant...so were the bartending staff. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay at the hotel - the "club rooms" are definitely not worth it either by quality or by price, but paying a 'normal' rate I would stay at this hotel again and over any other hotels in the city.

Clean and helpful

The hotel was well maintained, clean, and the staff were very helpful. The managers would text daily to ensure everything was pleasant with my stay. The hotel was quiet, and was perfect for me as I was there on business. The restaurant was clean and nice. The buffet was delicious and had lots of options for a great value. The view was also lovely. I would return.
