Explore the city’s great outdoors areas from viewing the display of First Nations totem poles in Stanley Park, taking a sunset stroll along the harbour Seawall walk to taking a cable to the top of Grouse Mountain for incredible city views. Cross the magnificent Strait of Georgia over to British Columbia’s quaint capital, Victoria. It will be easy to spot the British influences from the numerous tea rooms, European architecture and even red phone boxes. Sample Victoria Gin on a distillery tour, see the beautiful displays of flora at Butchart Gardens, be awed by the exhibits at the Natural History museum and marvel at the grandeur of The Parliament Buildings. No visit to Victoria would be complete without sampling the famous Afternoon Tea at the historic Fairmont Empress hotel located right on the harbour front.

Get back in touch with nature and discover Tofino’s natural beauty, fresh ocean air, abundant wildlife and spectacular beaches. Spend days strolling along the long, rugged stretches of white sand dotted with driftwood and rocks, head out on the water to spot orca, humpback whales and sea otters and even black bears and eagles along the coast. Tofino is also within easy reach of the Pacific Rim National Park, unofficially known as the "Tree loving capital of the world" due to its dedication to the environmental preservation. We love walking the Big Tree Trail to gaze up at the towering cedars, stop at spruces where eagles nest and embrace our inner tree-hugger with arms outstretched around 2,000 year-old trunks.

Located across the Puget Sound from Victoria and Vancouver - Seattle is a funky and laid-back, city with a beautiful, natural backdrop. Home to the original Starbucks, Seattle is still a coffee lover’s dream with countless coffeehouses and cafés filling the air with their fresh-roasted aroma of the city's favourite drink. For fabulous views across the city, head up the Space Needle, a 605 feet high observation tower, now an icon of the city or take a short ferry ride to the Kitsap Peninsula to visit award winning breweries. With the great outdoors right on your doorstep, you can explore three beautiful national parks within a few hours’ drive of the city - Mount Rainier, Olympic and North Cascades - cycle many trails, be awed by the spectacular scenery or kayak around the San Juan Islands.
