Canada’s west coast gem, Vancouver is known for its al fresco nature, active Vancouverites can’t get enough of the great outdoors; and in a setting this spectacular, who can blame them? We love to take a leisurely stroll through Stanley Park, passing joggers, cyclists and ferocious faces carved into the totem poles. Take some time to gaze out at the ocean and breath in the fresh sea air — you may even spot a beluga whale breach between the waves.

Picture snow-capped peaks merging with pure white clouds as teal-green mountains offset the sky blue above. We love riding the Banff Gondola for panoramic views across not one, not two, but six breathtaking mountain ranges. Take the exhilarating eight minute journey over peaks and slopes, Bow River, and Banff town, with more and more spectacular vistas as you climb to the 2,281-metre summit of Sulphur Mountain for a birds' eye view most birds don't even get to see.

Sunrises in Calgary are spectacular, when the gleaming skyscrapers are silhouetted against the white peaks of the Rockies. This city of big business and small-town prairie life feeds our fascination with the Canadian Wild West, while keeping us entranced with all the draws of a burgeoning city. We love imagining what life was like pre-1914 at the Heritage Park Historical Village. The park’s restored buildings, characters in heritage costume and working steam locomotive are the perfect environments for practicing our cowboy swagger.
