Disembark in Jasper and continue through the amazing scenery of the world-famous Icefields Parkway before exploring Banff (including an one-of-a-kind helicopter tour over the Canadian Rockies), Lake Louise and finally ending in cowboy city, Calgary.

Your first day sees you arrive in Vancouver where you can spend time individually exploring the attractions of this scenic city. We recommend taking a sunset cruise out into the Strait of Georgia to catch breaching whales or to head to Grouse Mountain for incredible outdoor adventure and wildlife refuge. Step on board the Rocky Mountaineer and enjoy the views as you travel from Vancouver to Kamloops. From the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate to the unforgettable beauty of the Thompson River, this stage of the journey takes you through some of Canada’s most spectacular scenery. Overnight in Kamloops.

Back on board you’ll head onwards to the spectacular Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Witness the majesty of the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies – the 12,972 foot high Mount Robson and take in Pyramid Falls as you head through Yellowhead Pass and into Jasper National Park. Overnight in Jasper.

Today you will be staying in the beautiful Jasper National Park. As Canada’s largest national park, there is so much to see and your scenic tour will provide glimpses of natural attractions, soaring peaks and freely roaming wild animals that call the park home. Spend the remainder of the day exploring on your own or stay at the hotel. Overnight in Jasper.

Today you will be travelling along the Icefields Parkways on your journey to Lake Louise. After stopping at the impressive Athabasca Falls you will continue to arrive at the Columbia Icefield where you can take a once-in-a-lifetime trip on an Ice Explorer to the very middle of the Athabasca Glacier. There will be time for lunch (not included) and then a stop at Bow Lake before completing the day’s travels by arriving at Lake Louise. Overnight at Lake Louise.

A tour takes you into Yoho National Park to view some of its natural wonders. Among the attractions are the Spiral Tunnels, Emerald Lake and a natural rock bridge that spans the Kicking Horse River. The tour ends in Banff. Overnight in Banff.

The penultimate day begins with a sight-seeing tour of Banff where you can marvel at the colour of Lake Minnewanka, admire the Hoodoos, take photos of the Fairmont Banff Springs from Surprise Corner and enjoy a trip on the Banff Gondolas too. Next stop is Kannaskis where you will be treated to a 12-minute Summit Helicopter Tour over the spectacular landscape of the Rockies before finishing the day in Calgary. Overnight in Calgary.
