Surprisingly Good Accommodation

New York City, New York

We stayed at this hotel as part of a group booking with a Globus tour of Canada. The hotel is situated centrally in Vancouver across the road from their major sports stadium and around the corner from Robson street. Robson street has dozens of different cuisines in every price range as well as a major high-end shopping mall, supermarkets etc. The hotel is close to the library... it’s worth taking a look at that building fashioned after the Roman colosseum. Just around the corner from the Georgian Court Hotel is a bus stop for the Hop-on Hop-off tour buses (around $50 to take you most places in Vancouver including Gas Town and the Harbour. The hotel has its own Italian restaurant on site and provided a nourishing, if somewhat unimaginative breakfast. The hotel itself is extremely modern with very comfortable beds. The rooms are very quiet and the blackout curtains help ensure a great night’s sleep. The room has a safe and coffee maker and a fridge. The bathroom is excellent with 5 Star finishes. I would be happy to stay at the Georgian Court Hotel next time. Overall I couldn’t fault it although it isn’t as grand as some of the larger hotels such as the Fairmont chain.

Georgian Court hard to beat!

Sydney, Australia

Service, location, cleanliness and friendliness of staff were all excellent. My luggage was lost on arrival in Vancouver and front desk staff went out of their way to help, even providing me with a suitcase so I could continue onto my cruise leaving the next day. Outstanding!
