Satisfied but not up to fairmont par

Seattle, Washington

Visited Vancouver BC with family. Overall the accommodations were great and the location was great. Everything was in walking distance and the skylink was right across the street. I was disappointed mainly with my check in and check out due to inefficiency. Check-in wasn’t ready with our rooms even at normal check-in time(we requested early check-in). Also, could not get ahold of anyone in to help with luggage when checking out. This fairmont also lacks refrigerators in the rooms which is needed when traveling with an infant/toddler. Staff was great when you could reach them and the bar has terrific drinks and are super helpful with recommendations.

Great harbour views, large rooms.

We had a harbour view room and it was worth it. Stunning views from a spacious room with an excellent and very large bathroom. Service was excellent. So why not 5 stars? I suppose it is because you will always be an anonymous face in the ever changing crowd in what is a very large, but very good, hotel.
