Magnificent Stay

Liverpool, Canada

We stayed here for two nights after travelling across Canada by air and rail. We booked in along with a group of about 25 people after our second day on the Rocky Mountaineer. We were on the 17th floor on the waterfront side and we were able to see all the activity taking place with the small planes coming and going, the hustle and bustle of people walking the seawall. A very nice breakfast was served to our tour group in the Parkland. The hotel is centre to so many stores and sightseeing events in the City. We had a very special farewell dinner and wine reception at this hotel and the wait staff were very attentive. There was only one drawback, which wasn't a big issue, but certainly inconvenient. There was no fridge in the room. The room, otherwise, was elegant and the bed made for a good night's sleep.

Friendly and professional staff

Maple Ridge, Canada

It was so nice to be addressed by my full name and to be treated so special from all of the staff. We booked the Alberta/BC residents package which included parking (normally $49/day). Expensive, but our room was lovely with a great view of the harbour and the city (corner room) and it was a special occasion. I look forward to seeing what the advantages of signing up with the Fairmont will do for us in the future.
