Great location

Spent 2 nights here on arriving from the UK on honeymoon. Perfect location for exploring Victoria. Short walk round the corner to quirky Fisherman's Wharf. Pick up the water taxi there and for $6 take the taxi to the Chinatown drop off. Canoe Brewhouse is great for lunch or dinner and then wander back slowly through Chinatown, Old Town and Downtown back to the hotel. Staff were very helpful. The restaurant is great for a special meal. The seafood platter was delicious and not too heavy.

Cozy hotel near picturesque Inner Harbour

Tsawwassen, Canada

This is a cozy hotel with a gorgeous location overlooking Victoria's Inner Harbour. As a native of Victoria I visit the city frequently and have repeatedly chosen this hotel as my base for my visits over more than 30 years. My most recent visit in September 2018 only reaffirmed my intention to continue using this hotel. The rooms are large and well furnished. The Eriksson Wing has great views for newcomers but I find the older wing more than adequate. When we have time, my wife and I greatly enjoying having a relaxing breakfast on the patio soaking up the ambiance of the Inner Harbour. One word of caution. The hotel will be undertaking a remodeling of its lobby for 6 months from October 2018. This is not expected to affect the individual rooms, but may disrupt the mood on the patio. I fully expect the hotel to be better than ever once the renovations are complete.
