Banff Upper Hot Springs

Relax and rejuvenate

For more than a century, people have been coming to Banff Upper Hot Springs to ease their hiking-sore muscles in the warm waters, surrounded with spectacular views of the mountains and landscapes. Discovered by chance in 1883 by rail workers, these springs are now the last remaining open to the public. As the springs are open year round, why not visit during the winter months and relax whilst the snow falls or watch sunset during the summer months. Come in the morning for the most relaxing visit as the springs are at their quietest.

Sink into the outdoor, spring-fed pool for what has to be the most relaxing way to view Banff's gorgeous alpine scenery. Or unwind with a treatment or two in the accompanying spa. The waters contain five top minerals: sulphate, calcium, bicarbonate, magnesium and sodium, making them wonderfully restoring for your skin.
