Comfortable stay

Our 2-night stay at the inn in Lake Louise was comfortable. Location was perhaps the best part of the stay. It's centrally located to many great hikes in the Banff area. This was a mid-point stop for us on our way up to Jasper from Calgary. For what we needed, which was warmth and shelter during the snowy 2 days we were there, the inn met our needs. It is undergoing a renovation, but our room had yet to be renovated and felt outdated. Overall, the lodging was overpriced in our opinion. If you do book, do so in advance to get a better rate. We booked for $334USD/night 2 weeks in advance (Sept'18/Summer Season). If you stay there, get a room overlooking the mountains, not the pool area. The pizza/pasta restaurant in the inn is mediocre/decent for the limited options in the area. Once the space undergoes its complete renovation, I'm sure it'll look and feel more renewed and great.
