Very poor overall value

You pay for the location here. And that's all. We've stayed in rooms that are nicer than this, for a third of the price. Generally, it was clean, except we found weird little black crusty bits in one of the beds, and that was a little gross. The whole building that we stayed in was really old, and the walls were super thin. We had neighbors that had kids and a dog, so it was pretty loud in the early morning especially. There's no extras here... no fridge or anything like that. This is a simple simple room that's very old, and there's no extras here. Also, be aware, that an extra "daily resort fee" will be added to your hotel price after you arrive.

Amazing Service

Nueva Gorgona, Panama

We spent two nights at the Lake Louise Inn and we wished we had stayed longer. It is set in the most beautiful place on earth, the backdrop of the inn is mother nature’s best work. The inn itself is located within 5 minutes of one of the top ski hills. My husband, myself and our two boys had two blissful days at the Lake Louise Inn (and on the ski hill during the day). The room were good. Nothing extraordinary, but adequate. The main inn had exactly what we needed at the end of the day on the slopes: hot tubs and a heated indoor pool. The boys loved it and we relaxed our muscles in the heat. All good. The best part of our stay was the outstanding service at the inn and the food quality. At breakfasts, we were greeted by an extremely friendly and helpful server named Jess. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Lots of options for health conscious and also people wanting to splurge on calories. My boys had lots of variety (they can be picky, but loved it too). For dinner we went to one of the other restaurants in the Inn, called Explorers. We picked the right night to go because not only did we have ANOTHER awesome server, they also had 50% off of their signature burger and they have an option to swap out the beef burger to a vegetarian burger. The kids menu was awesome, big portions. The kids dessert was HUGE! Our server’s name this time was Divan (sp?) and he also gave outstanding service. We were super impressed! We will definitely be back to the Inn for our next ski trip. Good service is hard to find now. My husband and I both kept saying how impressed we were with the service (and food quality). So amazing to get out of the hustle and bustle of city life, full time jobs, kids activities every night to go out to the great outdoors and be rejuvenated and thoroughly enjoy ourselves!!
