Historical place that value your stay in lake louise

Its a Good place in lake louise, We like the historical building, the facilities and hot tub.Though the Room itself is a little bit outdated and beds are small, overall its a valuable stay in this hot spot.

Freezing Rooms

Los Angeles, California

Negative degree weather and rooms are not equipped to withstand cold weather. Hallways & lobby were 10x warmer than rooms. My room had two windows with flimsy plastic/wood blinds that let all the cold in. Maxed out the heater and didn’t do any difference. The heater did not warm well. My sisters room had 4 windows with same blinds and it was freezing. They weren’t even able to shower with the fear of coming out into the freezing room. We had a very tiring day with our flight, renting a car and then driving 3hrs to get to the hotel. We honestly had no energy or mind to complain. All we wanted to do was rest and so we just asked for extra blankets but we did have to pretty much sleep in layers to keep warm. None of us slept well. The next day we checked into Fairmont Chateau and noticed they have THREE curtains covering the window and a working heating system. Lastly my husband ordered food and they took forever. No complaints about staff, all polite.
