Amazing views and very helpful staff, but the rooms are small, you can hear your neighbors think and the price is high considering the distances and overall experience. The hotel is over staffed which makes you feel like there is always someone there, however in most cases I found there was little they could do other than the normal things to help you, nothing above and beyond. the distances between the rooms and the main lodge are far so bring good footwear and time to enjoy the walks. if you are not from Alberta or never seen the mountains this is a must see place, but there are lots of options in this area, make sure you shop around and visit all your options.

Lovely views of the lakes

Surprised to be in a cabin rather than hotel room but it was a nice surprise. Cabin was warm and cosy with plenty of storage space and tea and coffee making. Golf buggy service to and from the cabins to the main hotel or a 5 minute walk along the path next to the lake. Food was ok and the large bar area was very comfortable. Breakfast was a little lacklustre but I think this was due to there being a large amount of people staying. We seemed to be put into a room that didn't normally serve breakfast and the staff were a little overwhelmed with the amount of people all eating at the same time but we got there in the end. Choice of foodstuffs was a little limited. Didn't get to use many of the amenities to a limited time horizon.

Great cabin room, beautiful location

In addition to the main lodge, this hotel has many "cabins" (a misleading word, they only look rustic from the outside) with 2-4 rooms each dispersed over a large area.
Our room in one of the upper tier cabins was excellent, with two chairs and a huge TV, and a large bathroom with plenty of counter space (and an inside light switch, a pet peeve of mine at other hotels that have it outside the bathroom). This unit shares a large living room/kitchen/dining area with the other adjacent units in the cabin, and that shared space was excellently equipped and very comfortable. There were even a couple of Adirondack chairs on the front porch.
I had just one minor gripe about the design of our room. The front window curtain was positioned in such a way that even when fully closed, there is a 6-8" inch gap between the end of the curtain and the wall. This is a very minor privacy issue, but more importantly, the porch light streams into the room through the gap at night, not a good thing if you like to sleep in a dark room. We found a clumsy way to work around this but still it was a bad design.
If you can't do the walk between your cabin and the main lodge (ours was 1/3 mile away) the staff will give you a ride. They did this a few times for us and the delay was minimal and they seemed happy to do it.
The Lodge is a little too far for a casual walk to downtown Jasper, so there's a free shuttle with regularly scheduled drop-off and pickup times.
The Lodge is located on the shore of a small lake, making for a beautiful setting with the mountain backdrop. I walked the trail around the lake (about 2.7 miles) and it was a very nice little hike.

Overall experience was not great. Food was way overpriced and so were the rooms. I stayed there because of the Alberta Builder Conference. TV didn't work for three days and the movie program never worked. My wife had a bad experience at the SPA which was way overpriced as well. $300! Food was average at best and so was service.
