And then an Elk passed through the area....

Super nice lodge hotel in quiet but convenient distance from the buzzing centre of Banff - a perfect and calm starting point for outings in the area. Very nice breakfast, great cafe, hot tub in the open and nice pinetrees and the occational deer passing by in between the lodges

Beautiful but I would not Say There.

We stayed at this hotel for the last 2 nights of a Globus Tour of Western Canada. Let me give you the good and bad. The Good: 1) Located on a beautiful tract of land just out of town. 2) Reliable public transportation across the street. 3) Rustic Room was large, had a fireplace and a kitchen The bathroom was nice with both an old style tub and a modern shower. The Bad 1) Rustic Dirt and insects came in very easily One room had an added guest- a squirrel. The staff unsuccessfully tried to remove with a plastic bag and a flashlight. The results were a different room. 2) The Room. No air conditioning. Murphy bed too low to the floor 3) Service. What's that. Non attentive staff was very slow in responding to requests. I would find another hotel
