A private island like no other

Nothing is too much to ask for at Peter Island Resort, the largest in the British Virgin Islands and the ideal hideaway for luxury seekers. This eco-friendly island, has five beaches to choose from, one dedicated to the expansive spa, one to honeymooners, allowing only one couple at a time and another the resort can arrange for you to be ‘stranded’ on for the day with only a picnic and a bottle of bubbles for company. There are several restaurants and bars, all offering a unique dining experience with a phenomenal view and the start-of-the-art facilities include a range of land and water sports, a fitness centre and a 51-foot sailboat. Embark on your own tropical adventure and hike or bike around the island or take advantage of Peter Island's good connections to neighbouring islands, including the US Virgin Islands to get off the island and explore. Book one of the luxurious villas and take advantage of the panoramic sea views, a fully stocked kitchen and, in some cases, a personal team of staff. Packages are available to make your stay truly memorable, these include spa treatments, day trips and private overnight stays aboard the Silmaril classic sailboat.

  • Good connections to other Virgin Islands
  • Secluded sea view accommodation
  • Five private beaches

Short visit

Only spent one night here as unfortunately hurricane Irma struck so had to leave the Island. Food was acceptable and the bar served a good selection of drinks. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and bathrooms well presented. We were right on the beach which was nice if only for the day. Didn't really get to experience the island but willreturn one day

Don't waste your money

We were severely disappointed in our stay here (July 22nd-28th). The island was beautiful, however the service was horrible and not at all what we were expecting of a high-end resort. Prior to booking, we had asked the resort if any corporate events were to take place during the week and we were affirmed that regardless, it would have no effect on our stay. This turned out to be completely and utterly false. We were repeatedly told that we were unable to dine in the finer restaurant due to the 'corporate party'. Furthermore, a 5 course wine dinner we had pre-reserved was cancelled DAY OF to accommodate the corporate event, with merely a 'sorry' from management and no sort of rectification. In addition to this, we routinely waited 20+ minutes to be served with water/drinks almost every dining experience, which unfailingly was surrounded by flies. No measures are put in place to alleviate this issue, leaving you fanning your food for the duration of the meal. Furthermore, we had requested that hair conditioner be brought to our room after asking and not receiving any for 3 days, and were told that they 'ran out'. Honestly, this was a complete waste of money in my opinion.
