Exploring Botswana Safari

Explore and discover Botswana on this wonderful safari taking you to the three best game viewing destinations that the country has to offer. A safari in Botswana is like no other in Africa as you can view the game from the air, by vehicle, on foot and on water at the flood plains of the Okavango Delta.

Begin at the Kalahari Central Game Reserve in a private wildlife reserve 15,000 hectares in size, making it the second largest game reserve in the world. Here you can spot all different types of beautiful wild animals. Afterwards visit the spectatcular and famous Okavango Delta, a very large, swampy inland delta that is the perfect place to spot hippos in their natural environment. Take a makoro (canoe) ride across the waters surface getting as close as possible to this unusal creatures. Finish your safari at Chobe National Park which has one of the largest populations of game in Africa, although the real highlight here are the elephants. There are thought to be around 50,000 elephants roaming the park.

Botswana is the perfect country for a diverse and exciting safari, particualrly if you have already been on safari in Kenya or South Africa.
