Disappointing to say the least... My wife was recovering from a new hip... 7 weeks.. Not at all ADA Friendly.. Hotel holds you captive with bars and restaurants.. VERY Expensive..Some food good.. Others a TOTAL rip... Rooms are nice.. Spa and Pool hard to get to and Spa downstairs and Dismal.. Main hotel Closed.. Beautiful Beach... I’m sure there are much better values for Money... Very Friendly Staff

Dilapidated Hotel, Bad Service

San Francisco, California

I can’t say enough bad things about this hotel. Overall, it’s dilapidated. While the lobby and guest rooms are nice, the rest of the facilities are in disrepair. The pool area is particularly gross. As for the service, it is friendly but incompetent. Our room wasn’t ready on time, and when it was finally ready was missing some key items, like Kleenex. When I complained, management was indignant: one of my two rooms was ready on time, and the Kleenex was brought a few hours after my request. That’s the kind of hotel this is: they’ll do half the job, charge you the full price, and act like you’re unreasonable for expecting to get what you pay for. If this hotel was $150 per night, the service would be adequate, but for $600 per night, it’s absolutely terrible. Management assured me they get plenty of rave reviews; I find it hard to believe standards are so low among guests. I hope this hotel avoids bankruptcy only so that the staff and their bad attitudes don’t spread to other Bermuda hotels and ruin them.
