Great spot - South shore Elbow Beach area. What we liked best about Coco Reef was the affordability: Imagine: a nice Bermuda hotel NOT in the $700 or higher/night range!! Very comfortable rooms and grounds. We stayed in an entry level 2nd floor room - it was perfectly fine - clean, comfortable rooms and bathroom. Some reviews complained about the wicker furniture, of all things. Big deal - we found it delightful. Some of the cabinet doors didn't quite close all the way or were off centered, but we managed to live through it. Main thing for us: Comfortable King Bed and clean bathroom. We had a nice balcony sitting area outside the room with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Beach area clean with plenty of chairs. Same goes for the pool. If you want to splurge walk about 2 minutes on the beach and have a great outdoor dinner at Mickey's, located on the Elbow Beach Hotel grounds. Breakfast here runs in the $25 range - about right by Bermuda standards. If you're looking to save $$, walk up to the Paraquet restaurant - serves decent breakfast or lunch at a more modest fee - the taxi driver from the airport highly recommended it. We dined in the south-shore hotels at night, as mentioned Elbow Beach right next door, as well as The Reefs and Fairmont. Took a bus into Hamilton for dinner a Little Venice and Flanigans Pub. Note that 18% gratuity is added almost everywhere. All in all, great time on a great Island in a (almost) great little Hotel. We shall return!!
