Jewel of Barbados!

Dunstable, United Kingdom

I’m not usually one to write reviews but after returning from Waves last week I felt I must! This hotel is easily one of the best we hahave stayed at. The staff make this hotel, from first check in until we sadly had to leave they go out of their way to ensure everything is perfect for you. Kim the manager is lovely. She makes a point of talking to every guest regularly to check everything ok. She is clearly doing something right, every single staff member appears to absolutely love their job! We stayed on the adult only side of the hotel and the room was perfect. One of the comfiest beds I have ever slept in! Room was large, clean and comfortable. Had an issue with our air con one day but they came and repaired it within ten minutes. Our terrace opened up directly on the pool. Sun beds were always available and the pool was kept spotlessly clean. Once on the sunbed you rarely need to move for the day. Hot towels, frozen fruit, water and drinks are constantly being offered. Special mention to Pamela, Chesterton and Destiny for there outstanding pool and beach service, all with a smile too! Food was fab in both restaurants, always plenty of variety and freshly cooked. We hired a car for a day and really enjoyed looking around the island. Wherever you go, Barbadians are genuinely the friendliest happiest people on earth! All in all there is nothing I would of changed about the hotel, except maybe a swim up bar in the adult pool?! Basically this was our first trip to Barbados and first stay at the Waves, and it won’t be our last! We already looking to go back next year.... Thank you Kim & Staff for an unforgettable holiday!

Can't fault this hotel

Waterlooville, United Kingdom

My second visit to Barbados, Waves is beautiful, not too large, excellent service, plentiful free water sports, lovely beach, no shortage of sun loungers, ambassador service on beach at least every 30 minutes. Food varied, excellent quality and staff all have that wonderful warm Bajan nature that attracts us all to Barbados. A small tip for the hotel, I think a beach bar would be amazing in the evenings to watch the sun set with a little music.
