BeAutiful rooms, beach and water. Good food. Great holiday.

Stafford, United Kingdom

This was our first all inclusive holiday and our first visit to Barbados so wasn’t sure what to expect. I had been very concerned about seaweed but luckily for us the beach and water was pristine the whole time. The hotel is not far from the airport and you can see the planes arriving but there is very little noise and we enjoyed watching them form our sun beds. The rooms in the new block are outstanding. We had a two bedroom room with a sofa bed also for 5 of us. Only one bathroom but it was lovely with 2 sinks, a bath tub and large shower. Towels plentiful and always replaced as needed. Coffee machine in the room plus mini bar replenished daily. Lovely plentiful toiletries. The only downside to our room 341 was that the balcony was very noisy because of a generator or extractor nearby so ruined the sound of the sea. Lovely balcony furniture but too noisy to use. Food was very nice. We enjoyed the breakfasts but often they wouldn’t be ready on time ie no porridge oats. However it was the best porridge ever when it arrived. Plenty of choice and great egg station. We loved the beach bbq, mahogany was great for buffet we thought. We used it for lunch along with the flying fish made to order beach cafe. You can use both so had a lovely pudding or a few snacks from buffet. Portions generally were small from a la carte so no chance of overeating which is a good thing I think. Also in evening the a la carte menus were limited in choice so we did like the buffet but it’s not on every night. Sometimes it’s a la carts instead. The booking system did make the holiday less relaxed I felt as you feel under pressure to get down early to book. We always got the time we wanted though but booked before 7:30am. To be honest with time difference we were up early anyway. In the evenings we had great service and painfully slow service with twice waiting an hour between courses which was not good. Was so late we just left and didn’t wait for pudding when we did want it. The staff. Some were so friendly and others very moody. The beach and bar staff were great although I did try to order a drink when bar was closed (I didn’t know) and was snapped at. Great coffee from the rum shack. Kids staff were great with my daughter. It was very quiet even at half term so they weren’t always open when she wanted to go but when they were she was sometimes the only one there with three staff! She loved them and misses them still. Thank you ladies. The lady who did aqua fit was great. She did kids club too. Sun beds were really nice. We only went on beach. Some people reserved which is annoying but there were always loads but maybe not on front row. Beach guys started at 9am and we were usually there before as it was so hot so we would get fresh towels when we left beach at 5 when they closed so we had some for morning. Pools nice, small but clean. We swam in the sea mostly and it was glorious. Saw a turtle take its first swim as it hatched after a very short burst of rain (one 10 min shower in the whole week). Also saw some in the sea from the raft they have. Sea was calm for few days then wavy. All great to swim in. Can borrow body boards, canoes, snorkels, homie cat, buckets and spades, SUP. loved the beach. On the whole I would recommend sea breeze and embrace the good and try and ignore the very few less good. They really are very small and it is a lovely resort. I would go back.

fun place to stay

Kent, United Kingdom

Great value, you won't get such a good all inclusive with such great rooms any where else in Barbados.Just remember that to get to this price there must be a few corners cut on the menu and premium drinks. The regular stuff is good quality but there are no upgrade options.
